CNA's Needed at Timber Creek Village

Timber Creek Village in Havre has opening's for Certified Nursing Assistants.

Position Summary: Assist the administrator by insuring that best quality of care is given to each resident. Assist residents in all activities of daily living as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Administrator to ensure the facillity is run as safely and efficiently as possible.
2. Follow and Complete daily checklist for CNA shift.
3. Follow and help carry ourt a residents written services plan.
4. Provide personal care services for residents including but not limited to: bathing, eating, dressing, personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, ambulation and assistance with transfrer.
5. Observe residents functioning, maintian written records of observations and report any changes to a licensed nurse.
6. Assist residents with self-administration of medication as needed.
7. Attend initial training, in-service training sessions and staff conferences upon request.
8. Learn and abide by all facility and assisted living rules and regulations.
9. Answer phones and medical alert calls.
10. Assist in serving meals
11. Assist in housekeeping.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience: Must have successfully completed no later than 12o after employment a nursing assistant training course or a Dept. of Public Health approved equivalent training and competency evaulation. Must have valid CPR certification.

Skills: Ability to organize and prioritize daily, weekly and monthly tasks in order to meet deadline. Attentive to detail and possess problem solving skills. Self motivated. Patience and fortitude to deal with various mental condittions of elderly residents.

Other: Must have a tuberculin skin test completed no more thatn 90- days prior to the date of initial employment in the facillity or the test must be commenced no more than seven days after the date of initial employment in the faciliity. A criminal history background check that conforms to the Health Care Worker Background Check Act will be conducted

Cooks Needed at Timber Creek Village

Timber Creek Village is now hiring cooks for thier Havre location.

Postion Responsibilities: Work with a licensed dietician to plan, prepare, and serve three (3) meals a day for all residents, staff, and resident guests. Inventory and order food through contracted vendor according to meal plans.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with a contracted licensed dietician in meal planning.
2. Follow and help carry out a residents written services plan as it pertains to dietary needs. Meals shouild include speciality and theraputic diets if needed.
3. Inventory, order, and maintain proper levels of fresh, frozen and staple food products each week in order to prepare meals according to menus. Stay within budgetary guidlines.
4. Ensure that each resident has a weekly menu to post in their apartment.
5. Ensure that lunch and dinner menus are posted in the dining hall each day.
6. Abide by all health regulations as it pertains to food storage, preperation, safety and sanitation.
7. Assist in serving meals
8. Assist in preparing for any health inspections.
9. Attend initial training, in-service training sessions and food shows upon request.
10. Learn and abide by all facility and assisted living rules and regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and or Experience: Must have one year of experience in commercial food preparation. Must have a sanitation certificate. Must have valid CPR certification.

Skills: Ability to organize and prioritize time wisely. Attentive to detail and possess problem solving skills. Self motivated. Patience and fortitude with variopus mental conditions of elderly residents.

Other: Must have tuberculin skin test completed no more than 90 days prior to the date of initial employment in the facility or the test must be commenced no more than seven days after the date of initial employment in the facility. A criminal background check that conforms to the Health Care Worker Background Check Act will be conducted.

Timber Creeek Village Needs Resident Assistants

Timber Creek Village is now hiring Resident Assistnats for their Havre location.

Postion Summary: Responsible for asssisting residents on a daily basis (some ADL assistance, leading daily activities, assisting with housekeeping and laundry, and assisting with meals.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Follow and complete daily checklist for RA schedule.
2. Answer phones and medical alert calls.
3. Lead daily activities - encourage residents to attend.
4. Assist in serving daily meals and in clean -up.
5. Attend Initital training, in-service training sessions upon request.
6. Maintain valid driver's license and transport residents to appointments and/or activities.
7. Learn and abide by all facillity and Assisted Living rules and regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and/or Experience: Must have valid CPR certification.

Skills: Ability to organize and prioritize time wisely. Attentive to detail and possess problem solving skills. Self-motivated. Patience and fortitude to deal with various mental conditions of elderly residents.
